Role Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll using ADP Workforce Now. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll execution, benefits management, compliance with federal and state regulations, and supports cross-functional HR and finance initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees using ADP Workforce Now.
- Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and benefits laws and regulations.
- Maintain payroll and benefits records and reports for auditing and reconciliation purposes.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and benefit deductions.
- Resolve payroll and benefits discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries in a timely manner.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and year-end reporting.
- Lead payroll and benefits audits and implement process improvements.
- Stay current with changes in payroll and benefits legislation and ADP system updates.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
- 5+ years of payroll experience.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and benefits administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Experience with multi-state payroll and benefits processing.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and integrations.
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification (preferred).
