~ Your Role ~
This position functions as a supportive role to the company CEO and is responsible for the delivery of accounting department-based assignments.
This is an IN PERSON job opportunity in Boca Raton:

Monday - Friday ~ 8:30am - 5:00pm (with a 30 min. lunch)
~ Essential Fun ~
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join our accounting department
- The Junior Accountant will play a key role in managing and maintaining financial records related to purchasing activities, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and supporting the efficiency of procurement operations
- Reconcile vendor statements and bank statements.
- Run and report Month End Financials (Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss) Reporting
- Record Journal entries related to month end closing, Payroll Journals, Revenue Entries
- Data Entry and Record Maintenance: Accurately enter data into accounting systems, ensuring proper coding and categorization for all purchasing-related expenditures (QuickBooks)
- Maintain organized and up-to-date receipt, including invoices, payroll documents, and other financial documents
- Auditing and billing for medical services
- Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including tracking expenses and identifying variances.
- Collaboration with Internal Departments: Work closely with the billing team and Human Resources to ensure accurate execution of procurement processes.
- General Administrative Support: Perform clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents related to monthly financial activities.
- Payroll processing (Bi-weekly). Includes adding expenses for reimbursement, PTO, Timesheets and any adjustments needed.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

~ Minimum Qualifications ~
- Working on Accounting Bachelor's Degree or experience as a Junior Accountant.
- Some experience or knowledge in QuickBooks and entering Journal Entries.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Ability to adhere to HIPPA regulations.
- Ability to maintain information with the strictest confidentiality.
- Ability to think critically and problem solve.
