About Edgeguard Rentals
Edgeguard Rentals provides temporary fencing solutions for construction sites, special events, and commercial projects across South Florida. We focus on reliability, fast response times, and long-term client relationships. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Sales Representative to generate new business and manage existing client relationships for our Miami-Dade and Broward County operations. This role combines outside sales, inside sales, estimating, and client relationship management, working closely with operations to ensure smooth project execution.
This is an on-site, local sales role combining outside sales, inside sales, estimating, and client management.
You will meet contractors at job sites, prepare proposals, follow up on leads, and coordinate with operations.
NOT a remote/office-only role. Daily field work is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through outbound calls, site visits, referrals, and networking
- Manage inbound leads and follow up consistently until deals are closed
- Meet contractors, event planners, and project managers on job sites
- Prepare estimates and rental proposals for temporary fencing projects
- Coordinate with operations, dispatch, and installation teams
- Maintain accurate records of pricing, notes, and deal stages in CRM systems
- Build long-term client relationships to drive repeat rentals
- Track quotes, conversion rates, and monthly sales targets
- Assist with collections through proactive customer communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of fence rental & sales experience (construction, rentals, fencing, or related industries preferred)
- Comfortable selling to contractors and commercial clients
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
- Ability to read basic site plans, drawings and perform take-offs
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel locally within South Florida
*Experience:
- Fence Rental & Sales: 2 years (Required)
Preferred (Not Required)
- Spanish speaking (conversational or fluent)
- CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Office or similar systems
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Passing a pre-employment drug screen
- Satisfactory background check
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary $ 60,000 + uncapped commission (commission tied to rentals and collections)
