The Vice President of Marketing oversees our organization’s marketing strategy and the teams responsible for the development and execution of marketing business plans, including the definition of new markets, branding initiatives, advertising, digital strategy and pricing.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing existing branding and marketing strategies and improving upon them.

  • Developing, leading, and delivering marketing plans focused on reaching specific audiences utilizing a diversified marketing mix.

  • Planning, developing, executing, and measuring the traditional and digital marketing strategy for the company; leading a capable marketing team while delegating tasks fairly.

  • Working closely to assist non-traditional teams to support channels, such as retail stores, door-to-door and event managers, to coordinate activities to achieve market sales & lead goals.

  • Ensuring appropriate branding and brand messages are used across all campaigns.

  • Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets, and allocating resources appropriately.

  • Conducting market research and implementing new strategies based on findings.

  • Monitoring industry trends and scheduling meetings to share new information with the team.

  • Setting daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets, and implementing various incentives to ensure they are achieved.

  • Closely monitoring competitors’ successes and failures and learning from them.

  • Maintaining excellence in digital media and future technology, and being an ambassador for digital within the business.

  • Supervising marketing events and launches, and using these spaces to network with industry professionals.

  • Managing and building relationships with marketing vendors to ensure the lowest-cost media buys.

  • Assisting with the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or Related Field

  • At least 10yrs of Digital & Traditional Marketing/Advertising Management Experience

  • Prior Non-Traditional Marketing/Advertising Management Experience is Preferred

  • At least 10yrs of Experience with Sales & Marketing Tools/Research

  • Proficient with digital monitoring platforms such as Google Analytics, SEM RUSH, etc.

  • Proven track record in creating and delivering successful and cost-effective direct-response marketing campaigns

  • Understanding of traditional and digital marketing avenues and how to leverage them for cost-effective results

  • Strong cross-functional and collaboration skills with external vendors, such as creative agencies

  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills

  • Ability to set and manage advertising budgets

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to influence others

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to make difficult decisions.
