MIKA by Michael White is a modern Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Coral Gables, led by award-winning Chef Michael White. We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Server Assistants to support our service team and help deliver a seamless, elevated dining experience.
Position Summary
The Server Assistant plays a vital role in supporting servers and bartenders while maintaining the flow, cleanliness, and organization of the dining room. This position requires a strong sense of urgency, teamwork, and a passion for hospitality in a fast-paced, upscale restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist servers and bartenders with table service to ensure timely and efficient guest care

Clear, reset, and maintain tables according to restaurant standards

Refill water, assist with bread service, and anticipate guest needs

Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas

Support food running and communication between the kitchen and service team

Assist with opening and closing side work

Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow
Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience preferred, but not required

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
