Commercial Lines Account Manager

We're looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to take ownership of a construction- heavy book of business with accounts ranging from $100K to $1M in premium. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment and enjoys being the go-to expert for complex commercial risks.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and service a book of established commercial clients, primarily in the construction space.
  • Partner with Producers on renewals, strategy, and placement to ensure each client gets top-tier coverage and service.
  • Lead the marketing process — analyze exposures, negotiate with carriers, and secure competitive terms.
  • Review, compare, and finalize proposals with precision and professionalism.
  • Oversee policy binding, certificates, endorsements, and audits with accuracy and urgency.
  • Support clients through the claims process with clear communication and follow-through.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all client activities are properly tracked in the agency system.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to support staff when needed.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of commercial lines experience, with a strong background in construction accounts.
  • Active Florida 2-20 license required.
  • Professional designations such as CIC or CISR are a plus.
  • Deep technical understanding of commercial coverages and underwriting practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail, accountability, and client-first mindset.
