Commercial Lines Account Manager

We're looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to take ownership of a construction- heavy book of business with accounts ranging from $100K to $1M in premium. What You'll Do
- Manage and service a book of established commercial clients, primarily in the construction space.
- Partner with Producers on renewals, strategy, and placement to ensure each client gets top-tier coverage and service.
- Lead the marketing process — analyze exposures, negotiate with carriers, and secure competitive terms.
- Review, compare, and finalize proposals with precision and professionalism.
- Oversee policy binding, certificates, endorsements, and audits with accuracy and urgency.
- Support clients through the claims process with clear communication and follow-through.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all client activities are properly tracked in the agency system.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to support staff when needed.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of commercial lines experience, with a strong background in construction accounts.
- Active Florida 2-20 license required.
- Professional designations such as CIC or CISR are a plus.
- Deep technical understanding of commercial coverages and underwriting practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail, accountability, and client-first mindset.
