Job Overview
This role supports the team to accomplish Division’s goals, in maintaining adequate internal controls over all areas of hotel operations, in supervising and directing financial activities of the hotel, safeguard assets, and preparing all financial reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Key Responsibilities

Here's the quick lowdown on what you'll do day-to-day:
- Monitor master account from check-in through check-out, ensuring correctness of billing.
- Prepare and post city ledger adjustments as needed, as well as prepare adjustments to reflect receipt of payments from credit card companies upon notification from the bank.
- Prepare in conjunction with the Sales department any requests for consideration for hotel credit.
- Enter credit approvals into account management software.
- Reconcile Hotel and food and beverage credit card batches between credit card companies and banking institution.
- Prepare and open master accounts for all unassigned groups from daily event orders. Prepare, review and reconcile Group and Events billing.
- Log and respond to credit card chargebacks as needed.
- Requests from DOF / ADOF as needed.
Requirements
Here's exactly what you need to excel in this role:
The Non-Negotiables (Must-Haves):
- Ability to prepare and analyze data, figures, and transcription
- Work hour flexibility including late afternoon, weekend, bank holidays and end of month
- Be able to speak, read, and write in English
The Cherries on Top (Nice-to-Haves):
- Experience in finance in the hospitality industry or degree in accounting
- Knowledge of SunSystems, Adaco, or HMS
