TruStar Salon Services is a distribution company of Professional Hair Care Products. We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist who will be responsible for reviewing and processing of approved vendor invoices for our multi company organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for checking and processing high volume vendor invoices for data entry.
- Prepares and mails A/P checks as needed
- Perform other duties along with special projects
- Provide necessary support as needed to assist finance department
- Reviews vendor statements and reconciles any discrepancies
- Maintains and organizes W9 information for necessary vendors
Experience and qualifications:
- 2 years related Accounts Payable experience
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required
Working Hours are M-F, 8:30am to 4:30pm. We are a business casual environment and offer Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance. We offer paid holidays and vacation/sick time. We offer a 401k match to our Retirement Plan.
