Warehouse Manager
Job Overview:
The Warehouse Manager is a critical role within our operations. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all inventory, order fulfillment, shipping/receiving, and warehouse activities are performed accurately, safely, and efficiently. This role is also responsible for leading and developing warehouse staff, optimizing workflows, and leveraging Cin7 to maintain real-time visibility into inventory and order status. The Warehouse Manager serves as the central operations link between Fulfillment, Sales, Procurement and Logistics teams, ensuring that each department’s workflow in Cin7 is aligned and error free. This position is for an experienced warehouse leader whom excels in people management, operational efficiency, and system driven processes. They are accountable for both the daily operations and long-term optimization of the warehouse environment.

Key job Responsibilities
- Direct daily workflow for Fulfillment Associates, Logistics Associate, and any warehouse staff.
- Collaborate with the Sales Administrator to confirm order accuracy, priority shipments, and customer-specific requirements.
- Work with the Procurement Administrator to ensure incoming stock is received, verified, and entered into Cin7 without delays.
- Coordinate with the Shipping & Handling Associate to plan outbound deliveries and carrier pickups.
- Hold daily/weekly check-ins with each role to address bottlenecks and keep timelines on track.
- Maintain real-time inventory accuracy in Cin7 by overseeing stock adjustments, transfers, and cycle counts.
- Ensure Fulfillment Associates are updating order status in Cin7 at each step (picking, packing, ready to ship).
- Review Cin7 dashboards daily to monitor open orders, backorders, and inbound purchase orders.
- Approve and troubleshoot stock adjustments or discrepancies entered by the warehouse team.
- Generate performance and efficiency reports in Cin7 for leadership review.
- Oversee all inbound shipments with the Procurement Administrator to confirm quantity, condition, and correct SKU entry in Cin7.
- Implement and enforce receiving procedures to prevent miscounts and stock misplacement.
- Maintain optimal stock levels by monitoring reorder triggers and reporting shortages to procurement.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits in collaboration with Fulfillment Associates.
- Supervise Fulfillment Associates to ensure orders are picked accurately from Cin7 pick lists.
- Approve high-value or bulk shipment accuracy checks before release to the Shipping & Handling Associate.
- Resolve order errors or substitutions with the Sales Administrator before shipment.
- Maintain packaging quality standards to ensure products arrive in perfect condition.
- Oversee the Logistics Associate to ensure on-time outbound shipments and accurate carrier documentation.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks between Sales, Procurement, Fulfillment, and Shipping teams.
- Implement process improvements and training to increase speed and accuracy.
Skills & Qualifications
· 5+ years in warehouse or distribution operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
· Strong knowledge of Cin7 or similar WMS/ERP software, with the ability to train staff and ensure accurate data entry.
· Excellent communication, team coordination, and cross-functional management skills.
· Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
· OSHA safety knowledge and warehouse equipment certification preferred.
· Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, continuously lifting and moving up to 100 lbs, with frequent twisting, bending, stooping, climbing, and balancing.
· Operate machinery requiring visual acuity, including forklifts (forklift certification preferred).
· Must pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with periodic testing.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· Ability to work in noisy warehouse environments, construction site settings, and office environments.
· Knowledge of freight shipping processes and material preparation for installation (including basic carpentry and painting skills).
· Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage a high volume of work under tight deadlines.

· Limited travel may be required.
