We’re hiring a full-time, in-office Operations Manager to lead the processes that fuel our agency’s growth—from quoting and servicing to renewals, compliance, and team coordination. This role reports directly to the Managing Director and will collaborate closely with the future Marketing Manager to align operational efficiency with sales and service growth.
If you bring strong commercial insurance experience, systems thinking, and leadership skills, you’ll play a vital role in Routeway’s next phase.

What You’ll Do
Lead Day-to-Day Operations
- Oversee workflows across quoting, onboarding, policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and claims
- Coordinate handoffs between sales, service, and support teams
⚙️ Optimize Systems & Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain data integrity in Agency Management Systems and CRM platforms
- Create scalable, tech-enabled SOPs for repeatable success across verticals
Manage and Support the Team
- Supervise CSRs, Admins, and Support Staff
- Improve team coordination, resolve workflow gaps, and support high-performance culture
Own KPI Tracking & Reporting
- Deliver monthly operational reports and performance insights to leadership
- Support growth strategy, hiring plans, and resource allocation
Partner with the Future Marketing Manager
- Collaborate with the soon-to-be-hired Marketing Manager to ensure lead-gen and brand efforts are supported by strong onboarding, quoting, and retention systems
- Ensure internal operations are aligned with client acquisition and referral partner growth
✅ Compliance & Risk Management
- Maintain compliance with state, carrier, and data privacy regulations
- Proactively manage and reduce E&O risk exposures
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: 5+ years in commercial insurance operations; brokerage or middle-market experience preferred
- Systems: Proficient with Agency Management Systems (Applied Epic or similar) and CRM tools
- Leadership: Experience managing and motivating cross-functional teams
- Language: Bi-lingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, process-driven, tech-savvy, and collaborative
