Benchmark Financial, a growing wealth management firm, is seeking an experienced Wealth Advisor to assist us in our mission of helping clients achieve their financial goals. Our culture is family focused, fast-paced, collaborative, and intent on improving our clients lives.

Description

The Wealth Advisor has a broad responsibility for managing client relationships and orchestrating the delivery of all services of the firm to those clients. This position will be supported by a team of other professionals, and specialists within the firm.

The Wealth Advisor will be responsible for obtaining new client relationships, outside of firm provided relationships, as well as enhancing existing client relationships. This individual provides investment and financial planning advice for clients and should have knowledge in all areas of financial planning including identifying client goals and objectives, goal-based planning, investment management, qualified plans, business planning and estate planning.

Responsibilities & Activities

  • Assess client needs, provide quality financial advice and counsel, and ensure that the client portfolios are managed in accordance with each clients goals, situation, and plan.
  • Consult with clients to determine specific financial, retirement, charitable, and lifestyle goals that help form the financial plan and investment strategy.
  • Collaborate with the clients other advisors, which may include an estate planning attorney, tax professional, trust officer, insurance agent, and others. Maintain professional relationships with these external advisors (e.g., centers of influence) and work with them to develop new business leads/referrals for the company.
  • Provide quality service to clients, and meet the firms goals for client satisfaction, retention, and growth:
  • Maintain regular client contact and conduct scheduled update
  • Develop personal network and grow AUM by introducing new clients to the firm, meeting the firms goals for client referrals, and expanding current client relationships:
  • Conduct effective presentations to clients and prospective
  • Active personal community involvement and support firm community involvement
  • Coordinate with team members to provide consistent, effective client support and service:
  • Assist with execution of the strategic vision/goals of the firm
  • Maintain highly organized and updated client files
  • Always maintain firm compliance with all state and federal regulations

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelors degree in business, finance, or economics, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Wealth Advisor
  • Active Series 66 or Series 63 & 65 or similar license in good standing
  • Active or the ability to attain Life & Health Licenses
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP ) or another designation preferred
  • Clean U-4 and U-5 history. Background check required
  • Experience working with complex financial needs of clients
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required; must be professional, impactful, and effective in communicating complex and technical information
  • Demonstrated competency in financial planning, financial analysis, and/or investment research and strategies
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills using business logic and good judgment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and proactively address opportunities and needs

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Entrepreneurial mindsight with natural business development skills
  • Above average multi-tasking skills with experience using CRM systems, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to take direction and a desire to support all team members

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $110,000 to $120,000 based on experience.
  • Individual Incentive Bonus

Hours:

  • Regular business hours, Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:30. Business development is done during work hours and after 5:30 pm.
