Job DescriptionJob Summary:
The Inside Salesperson will assist customers with purchasing merchandise at the counter. They will coordinate with the patron, management, and warehouse personnel on facilitating and completing orders in a timely fashion. Their goal is to provide superior service to our customer base and identify opportunities for add-on sales. This position will receive training on company processes and industry-specific knowledge.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greets and interacts with customers.
- Consults with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to the merchandise.
- Partners with experienced technical service advisors, or experienced staff to provide explanations on merchandise with the goal of helping the customer select the best options suitable for the customer’s needs.
- Answers customer questions or escalates the question to appropriate staff.
- Retrieves merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations; places special orders. Helps to stock products as needed.
- Collects payment using the store point of sale system and processes returns and exchanges.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- First-rate data entry and computer skills
- Ability to anticipate customers’ needs.
- Ability to operate or quickly learn the store’s point-of-sale system.
- Willingness to learn about HVAC products.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous HVAC install and service experience preferred.
- Experience in a front-counter sales environment is a plus.
- On-the-job training provided.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
