Job DescriptionAbout the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Boca Raton. This is a fully onsite, direct hire position offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and experience managing high-volume invoice processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
  • Prepare and execute weekly check runs and electronic payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and organized AP records and documentation.
  • Assist with month-end closing and provide support for audits.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of accounts payable experience in a corporate environment.
  • Education: High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP experience a plus).
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
