The Event Setup Crew Member plays a hands-on role in bringing events to life. Working under the direction of a Crew Lead, this person helps load, unload, set, and strike high-end event Decor. You’ll work on-site at hotels, venues, and private residences to make sure every setup looks flawless.
This is a driving position — ideal for someone who enjoys physical, detail-oriented work and takes pride in making things look perfect.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload furniture, bars, and décor with care and efficiency
- Set up and arrange event items according to layout and style guides
- Handle all pieces carefully to avoid damage and maintain presentation quality
- Follow setup directions precisely and stay focused under pressure
- Keep a positive, professional attitude with team members, clients, and venues
- Assist with breakdowns and returns to the warehouse after events
- Maintain company quality and safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Prior hospitality or event experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Coachable and open to feedback — no ego, no drama
- Reliable, on time, and professional in appearance
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand or move for long periods
- Flexible schedule — weekends and some evenings required
