With a portfolio that spans all of Florida, particularly on the coasts, New York, The Hamptons, Connecticut, and even Costa Rica, our work reflects a thoughtful, refined, and highly personalized design approach. We're looking for a Junior Interior Designer to join our small but mighty and growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly alongside the Principal Designer, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship across all phases of design. Key Responsibilities
- Work in tandem with Principal Designer in all phases of the design process on large scale residential projects
- Communicate directly with clients, contractors, vendors, and project team members
- Assist in client meetings, presentations, and on-site visits
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets using Asana, Studio Designer or other related project management tools
- Conceptualize and create designs through 3D visualizations, mood boards, presentations and hand-sketching
- Assist in developing space plans, budgets, schedules, and construction documents
- Work with Principal Designer to source finish & fixture materials as well as furnishings, wall coverings, and other decorative elements
- Prepare design and construction documents using AutoCAD
- Prepare presentation materials
- Create specifications using tools like Studio Designer, Asana and Excel Manage or assist in purchasing all furnishings, materials, and accessories
- Coordinate with vendors, expeditors, and warehouse for procurement and delivery
- Travel to job sites, design centers, and showrooms as needed
- Oversee installation and ensure all items are delivered as specified
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design
- 3–5 years minimum experience in residential design setting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with project management tools like Asana and Slack, Studio Designer software
- Understand the financial aspects of running a design project to maintain timelines & budgets
- Strong oral, written, and graphic communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Resilient, team-oriented, and independently motivated
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
