Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to support daily administrative operations in a fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, be proficient in Excel, and have experience with office organization. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient office workflows while gaining valuable experience in administrative functions in the construction field.

Duties

  • Perform data entry, order tracking, Excel spreadsheets, and light filing
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for correspondence, scheduling tasks, and updating numerous excel spreadsheets
  • Assist with calendar management of project and warehouse deliveries
  • Support bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks (potentially - will train)
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate office management tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Support personal assistant tasks, such as special project coordination as needed

Requirements

  • Proven office experience with strong clerical skills and familiarity with office organization procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) applications
  • Experience with data entry, filing, and proofreading preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and maintain professionalism at all times
  • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
