Flynn's Arcade & More is a classic 80's arcade where retro-meets-modern, housing over 70+ unique arcade cabinets, consoles ranging from the N64 to the PS5, as well as several racing games, amusement games like Basketball and Air Hockey, & so much more!
We're looking for nerdy, driven individuals to join our ever-growing arcade, bar & gaming hotspot. We are proud to practice a friendly & hands-on company culture that brings a new meaning to the term "work family." On top of basic responsibilities such as running the register and providing our customers with our excellent customer service, our team members can expect to...
- Handle cash, card and mobile payment options, and navigation of a modern touchscreen POS system
- Prepare pre-made foods and use industrial kitchen equipment, as well as provide basic cleaning & maintenance to said equipment
- Bartending and drink preparation, following of written recipes & instructions, including but not limited to smoothies, daiquiris, and mixed drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, such as slushies
- Become well informed on the happenings at Flynn's (including weekly promotions & future events) and ready to relay information in a friendly manner
- Following of daily tasks required to keep the arcade up and running, including cleaning of machines, floors, tables, etc., as well as providing very basic maintenance to machines and reporting when a machine is down (We'll show you how!)

Must be at least 18 years old, have a car or otherwise reliable, consistent transportation, posses a team-player work ethic, as well as speak, read & write fluent English. Must be available for weekend & closing shifts, with some shifts lasting as late as 2AM. Hiring part time, with weekly hours ranging typically from 15-30.
Some of the physical requirements of the job include..

Ability to stand and remain on feet for extended periods of time (up to 8+ hours per shift).

Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and twisting throughout the shift.

Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs (such as cases of beer, soda, kegs and bags of ice).

Occasional pushing or pulling of items (such as carts and trash bins).

Ability to grasp, handle, and operate small objects (such as glassware, bottles, utensils, and POS equipment).

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires repetitive hand and arm movements (pouring, shaking, scooping).

Occasional climbing or use of a step stool to access stocked items on higher shelves.

Ability to maintain balance and mobility in crowded or tight workspaces.
