About the Role
A leading provider of global security, risk management, and consulting solutions is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join its finance team. In this role, you’ll process invoices, track and record payments, and ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness in all accounts payable functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately capture and validate all supplier invoices in the accounting system in a timely manner.

  • Reconcile supplier accounts to statements.

  • Prepare supplier payment runs for authorization in the bank.

  • Ensure supplier payments are correctly matched to the relevant client and/or general ledger account.

  • Review credit card accounts, matching all receipts to monthly statements.

  • File processed documentation, payment confirmations, and supplier reconciliations promptly in the AP tracker file.

  • Communicate clearly and courteously with suppliers to obtain statements and resolve queries or disputes.

  • Work closely with the billing team to validate vendor/supplier invoices as billable items.

  • Process, review, and approve expense reports in Concur, adhering to the company’s expense policy.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including 1099 issuance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an accounts payable specialist.

  • Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently under tight deadlines.

  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining confidential and meticulous records.

  • Multi-company experience preferred but not required
