We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant (CPA or EA with strong experience)to join our firm. This role offers the opportunity to step into a leadership position within our tax and advisory practice, serving as the lead tax advisor and primary client-facing representative.

Responsibilities

Lead tax planning and strategy for business and individual clients
Represent clients before the IRS and state agencies (POA, audits, notices, correspondence)
Review tax returns to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality
Advise clients on entity structure, elections, and other tax-sensitive decisions
Build and maintain strong client relationships in a collaborative, high-trust environment

Qualifications

CPA license required (EA with strong experience will be considered)
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting
Strong knowledge of corporate, partnership, and individual taxation
Experience with tax planning and advisory strongly preferred
Prior exposure to IRS or state agency representation strongly preferred
Clear communicator and collaborative team player
