Barista
Company: Qargo Coffee
Location: In-person, 2223 N Westshore Blvd Unit # FC209, Tampa, FL 33607. (International Plaza)
Job Summary: Qargo Coffee is looking for a motivated and energetic Barista/Cashier to join our growing team. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional coffee experience and ensuring smooth store operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos.
- Greet customers, take orders, and answer menu-related questions.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness in the work area and clean equipment.
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food and beverage handling.
- Assist with food preparation (e.g., sandwiches or pastries).
- Upsell additional products or promotions.
- Collaborate with team members for efficient operations.
Skills Required:
- Time management for multitasking and prioritizing orders.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in cash handling and basic math.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and blends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Sales and upselling skills.
- Basic food preparation skills.
Job Details:
- Type: Part-time
- Pay: $14.00 or local minimum wage, whichever is higher) plus tips
- Benefits: Weekly Pay, Paid Time Off, & 401K
- Health Care, Dental, & Vision: Anticipated rollout for full timers in Q1 2026 (subject to change)
- Flexible Hours: 4 to 8 Hour Shifts
- Shift Options: Sunday to Saturday
Job Types: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour + Tips
Expected hours: 4 29 per week
All shifts include legally mandated meal and rest breaks in accordance with California labor law.
