Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate Veterinarian for relief work to join the team at our successful clinic. Our hospital needs coverage November 28 2025,November 29 2025, and December 26 2025! You will primarily diagnose and treat dogs and cats; however, we also provide care for smaller animals. Daily responsibilities will include performing surgeries, treating wounds, prescribing medications, and spaying/neutering. If you are passionate about providing exceptional animal care, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine examinations
- Diagnose illnesses and recommend treatment
- Perform surgeries including dental, ophthalmic, and orthopedic
- Administer vaccinations
- Perform spay and neuter surgeries
- Prescribe medication
- Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being
- Update client records
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Previous work experience as a veterinarian
- Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms
- Problem-solving skills
- Availability to take evening, weekend, or on-call shifts when necessary
- Patience and a love for animals
