Position: Senior HOA Accountant
Vacatia is a fast-growing, innovative hospitality company transforming the vacation ownership and timeshare experience. As we continue to expand our resort portfolio and integrate new properties, we’re looking for a Senior HOA Accountant who is excited to grow with us and play a key role in building scalable, best-in-class HOA accounting operations.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements using fund accounting
- Develop HOA board reporting and support ad hoc financial requests
- Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account setup
- Support month-end close, payroll accruals, and other adjusting entries
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules
- Assist with accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment postings
- Process and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Partner with internal teams to improve accuracy, efficiency, and automation
- Support audits, forecasting, business reviews, and pro forma reporting
- Leverage technology to streamline workflows and enhance scalability
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas, financial models)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
A Plus If You Have:
- Experience in HOA, hospitality, timeshare, vacation rental, or travel industries
- Experience with Sage Intacct and/or Bill.com
