About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team in a cold storage warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have strong warehouse and logistics experience, proven forklift skills, and the ability to work in extreme cold while handling food products. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for well-qualified candidates, with the possibility of overtime.
Responsibilities:

Operate various forklift equipment (sit-down, stand-up reach, electric pallet jack).

Load and unload containers, including floor-loaded and export shipments.

Safely move, stack, and organize food products in a temperature-controlled warehouse.

Lift and handle boxes weighing 50–60 lbs.

Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications:

3–8 years’ experience in warehousing/logistics.
-
3–5 years’ experience operating forklifts (sit-down, stand-up Reacher, pallet jacks).

Forklift certification required.

Ability to work in climate-controlled environments: dry, refrigerated (34°ree;F), and freezer (-10°ree;F).

Experience unloading floor-loaded containers and loading/unloading export containers.

Reliable transportation.

Fluent in English (spoken and written).
