Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President of Marketing to lead and elevate our Florida marketing department and support our agent’s business. Based in Miami or Palm Beach, this senior leader will play a key role in shaping the brand’s presence across the state, driving agent success through strategic marketing programs, and ensuring excellence across all digital, print, and experiential efforts.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role requiring deep luxury brand experience, technical fluency, and proven leadership. The ideal candidate understands that real estate is not just a transaction—it’s a hospitality-driven business, where supporting our agents and enhancing the client experience go hand in hand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Stewardship: Lead activation and strategy of Douglas Elliman brand across all Florida markets, ensuring consistency, creativity, and resonance with the luxury consumer based on national branding.
  • Agent Marketing Support: Develop and oversee scalable marketing tools, campaigns, and best practices that empower agents to market their listings, grow their businesses, and differentiate themselves. The Agents are the most important client with this model.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing team of regional marketing professionals across Florida. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and service-oriented culture with strategy and creativity.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute annual marketing strategies aligned with business goals, market trends, and growth objectives.
  • Brokerage Management Support: provide support for local leadership including but not limited to strategic initiatives around the procurement of new talent and retention of existing agent base
  • Budget Oversight: Manage multi-million-dollar marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation across media, creative, events, partnerships, and more.
  • Digital & Technical Acumen: Oversee performance marketing for social media, website content, and analytics to drive agent adoption and lead generation.
  • Manage and lead media buying: for Florida under guidance of AVP advertising
  • Partnerships Cultivate local brand partnerships and media relationships to amplify our presence in key markets
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Brokerage Leadership, Creative, and Technology teams to deliver cohesive, high-impact initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 10–15+ years of progressive marketing experience within a luxury brand environment (real estate, hospitality, fashion, lifestyle, or related industry preferred)
  • Deep understanding of marketing strategy, performance metrics, and customer lifecycle management
  • Proven success in managing and scaling high-performing teams across multiple locations
  • Strong financial acumen and experience owning large budgets and vendor relationships
  • Passion for agent service and client-first mindset; experience in a service-based or consultative sales environment a plus
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of the Florida market preferred
