Job Description

The Construction Office Administrator will provide administrative and clerical support to the construction team and help maintain smooth day-to-day office operations. You will be responsible for managing office procedures, assisting with project documentation, coordinating schedules, and supporting the overall project management team. This position is a critical role in supporting our self-performing team. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and capable of handling a wide range of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

$17 - $20 hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule meetings, job site visits, and inspections. Coordinate travel and accommodations for project managers and team members when necessary.
  • Input and manage project-related data in company systems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients for administrative inquiries.
  • Assist project managers in tracking budgets, timelines, and schedules.
  • Assist with the ordering of materials and supplies for construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and tracking of inventory.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency with office software, including MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and construction management software is a plus.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as an office administrator, office manager, or in a similar administrative role, preferably in the construction or related industries.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus).
