Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, be proficient with accounting software, NETSUITE or similar, and possess excellent analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of transactions.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts and financial discrepancies.
- Process employee expense reports and manage petty cash transactions.
- Support the finance team during the monthly close process.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
