ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Deliver all Resort training programs with a focus on Food & Beverage operations including New Hire Induction, Luxury Service Culture, Forbes Travel Guide, and Food & Beverage Steps of Service training.
  • Coach leaders and team members on service skills, Forbes Travel Guide standards, and Steps of Service.
  • Collaborate with Food & Beverage department heads, and departmental trainers to develop, manage, and distribute Steps of Service for all restaurants and bars.
  • Monitor HotSOS data for all restaurants and bars; identify trends and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Analyzes daily guest feedback, monitor trends, and departmental goals regarding CRM (Opera Cloud, OpenTable), and other KPIs.
  • Develop and reinforce quality control initiatives in all restaurants and bars through regular walk-throughs.
  • Conduct regular internal quality audits for all restaurants and bars. Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of Food & Beverage operations.
  • Create and develop Food & Beverage training materials.
  • Ensure compliance with all training required by both state and federal laws e.g., alcohol and food certifications. Plan and coordinate monthly food and alcohol training.
  • Coordinate with department heads, managers, and departmental trainers to ensure all Food & Beverage new hire onboarding training plans, including On the Job Training (OJT) checklists are current and completed on time. Manage the Boca Buddy program.
  • Ensures team members are cross trained to support successful daily operations, and career development.
  • Assist in conducting the annual training needs assessment (TNA).
  • Assist in developing the annual learning objectives, and training calendar.
  • As needed, participates, and leads all operations meetings, and pre-shifts.
  • Maintains and updates all training records within the LMS.

Certificates/Licenses/Registrations

  • ServSafe® Food Manager Certification (preferred/required within 60 days of hire).

Note: This job function focuses on Food & Beverage operations. Experience within Food & Beverage operations of a luxury hotel/resort/restaurant is required.

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Hilton from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may have the potential of risk to your health or safety. The hotel will provide the required PPE. Team members will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to your manager.

Standing, bending, stooping, and lifting weights up to and including lbs. may be required. The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
