Job Description

We are seeking skilled A&P Mechanics to join our repair station team at Fort Lauderdale Airport. This is an opportunity to work on a variety of aircraft, with a focus on corporate jets.

Responsibilities

  • Perform heavy maintenance on various aircraft, including inspections, overhauls, and repairs.
  • Conduct phase maintenance and troubleshoot issues as required.
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with FAA regulations and company policies.
  • Utilize personal tools to carry out maintenance tasks effectively.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance work performed.

Essential Skills

  • Possess an A&P License.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy maintenance.
  • Experience with corporate jets such as Falcon, Gulfstream, Learjet, Hondajet, Hawker, Cessna, Challenger is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Gulfstream models G6, G400, and G500 is advantageous.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with aircraft maintenance, inspection, and repair.
  • Proficiency in hangar maintenance and powerplant troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) procedures.

Work Environment

Work in a hangar environment with a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Long-term, there will be 2-3 shifts available, offering flexibility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
