As we continue to grow and expand, we are looking for a talented Automotive Office Manager to join our team.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Automotive Office Manager to oversee and manage all administrative tasks and operations in our Automotive Dealership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive industry administration and be able to ensure smooth daily operations in our office.
Responsibilities:
- Enforce accounting processes and protect the business interests of the owners. Prepare standard entries and record to ensure all accruals are accurate.
- Ensure balance sheet adjustments are made to reflect actual inventory balances. Prepare weekly, semimonthly, monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review daily, weekly, monthly schedules for accuracy and completeness.
- Update ledgers daily, weekly monthly to agree with the manufacturers' changes to financial statements. Work with Department Managers to improve dealership processes ensuring that company policies and internal control measures are being followed.
- Clean, book, bill and post all deals daily.
- Prepare month, quarter, and annual federal and state required reports and taxes including VIT Prepare extended warranty and credit electronic transfers and payments.
- Monitor and manage office supplies and equipment, ordering as needed
- Train and supervise office staff, including receptionists and administrative staff
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- 4 years of experience as an office manager in the automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of office procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication skills and customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Proven leadership and team management experience
