Florida Doctors Group is seeking a motivated and professional Provider Relations Representative to join our growing team. This is an exciting, hands-on role for someone who enjoys building relationships, working directly with providers, and supporting contracting and operational processes within a managed care environment.

The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, detail-oriented, and committed to professional growth in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with providers and medical groups

  • Support provider contracting efforts, including negotiating capitation and risk-based agreements

  • Review and explain contract terms and agreements to providers

  • Conduct in-office provider visits for onboarding, education, and ongoing support

  • Explain financial and operational reports to providers in a clear and effective manner

  • Educate providers on reporting, workflows, and health plan requirements

  • Serve as a liaison between providers and health plans to support communication and issue resolution

  • Assist with provider in-services and ongoing engagement initiatives

  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely follow-up on action items

REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior experience in provider relations, contracting, or managed care

  • Understanding of capitation agreements, risk arrangements, and value-based contracts

  • Experience working directly with providers or medical groups

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Professional, confident, and personable demeanor

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Sign

  • Comfortable learning and using systems and preparing reports

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with MSOs, IPAs, or health plans

  • Familiarity with Medicare Advantage and managed care models

  • Experience explaining financial or operational data to providers
