Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Deerfield Beach, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for managing high volumes of invoice processing and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. Responsibilities:
• Process and code invoices with precision to ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile invoices against bank statements and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Manage check runs and ensure all payments are processed accurately.
• Collaborate with multiple entities to handle accounts payable transactions.
• Maintain organized records of financial documents and support audits as needed.
• Utilize industry-specific software to streamline AP processes and improve efficiency.
• Communicate with vendors to address payment inquiries and resolve issues.
• Assist with reconciling accounts to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Support the team in managing high volumes of AP transactions efficiently.
• Provide general accounting assistance as required to meet departmental goals.• Proven experience in accounts payable or similar accounting roles.
• Proficiency in invoice processing and coding.
• Familiarity with check runs and reconciling financial statements.
• Ability to work with industry-specific accounting software, such as VuPoint.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.
• Experience working across multiple entities or companies.
• Capability to handle high transaction volumes efficiently.
