Club Server – Job Description
The Club Server is responsible for full ownership of the guest dining experience within their assigned section at SEIA Club. This role leads service execution on the floor, directs the Server Assistant and Busser teams, and ensures each table receives polished, intuitive, and well-paced service aligned with SEIA Club’s standards across both the Restaurant and the Club. A Club Server at SEIA Club is expected to demonstrate deep command of the menus and confidently guide guests through the culinary and beverage offerings.
Your Responsibilities:
• Own the end-to-end dining experience for assigned tables, including guest engagement, menu guidance, pacing, and overall satisfaction.
• Demonstrate mastery of all food and beverage menus, including ingredients, preparations, sourcing, and flavor profiles, and confidently guide guests through selections.
• Present menus with clarity and confidence, answer questions in detail, and support informed recommendations across food, wine, and beverages.
• Direct and coordinate the Server Assistant and Busser teams to ensure seamless service flow, table maintenance, and timely execution.
• Lead coursing and pacing in coordination with the kitchen and bar, adjusting in real time based on guest behavior and service conditions.
• Conduct table touches and manage elevated service moments with discretion and composure.
• Anticipate guest needs, resolve concerns proactively, and escalate only when necessary to FOH leadership.
• Communicate clearly with FOH leadership, kitchen, bar, and host teams regarding timing, special requests, and guest preferences.
• Maintain section readiness, cleanliness, and organization before, during, and after service.
• Uphold SEIA Club service language, presentation standards, and hospitality expectations at all times.
• Support opening and closing procedures as assigned.
Your Qualifications:
• 2 years+ of experience in a Club Server, lead service, or senior service role within fine dining or luxury hospitality environments.
• Proven ability to master and articulate complex food and beverage menus with confidence and accuracy.
• Strong command of service flow, coursing, and guest interaction in a high-touch dining setting.
• Ability to lead support staff calmly and clearly during active service.
• Polished communication skills, strong situational awareness, and attention to detail.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A genuine passion for hospitality, cuisine, and refined service.
