Snapshot of key accountabilities of the Lobby Receptionist:
- Strong understanding of and personal commitment to Planned Parenthood’s mission, values, and health equity principles.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage patients, staff, vendors, and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Prior experience in a front-desk, administrative, or customer-facing role within a healthcare or high-volume service setting preferred.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and follow security and safety procedures.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; able to multitask and maintain orderly common areas and materials.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and practice management databases or scheduling tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to handle varied responsibilities.
- Willingness to complete required onboarding and ongoing training, including compliance and safety protocols.
Experience/Education of the Lobby Receptionist:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a customer service, receptionist, or front-desk role.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and sound decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism in appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Proven attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs preferred.
- Ability to adapt positively to change and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Strong understanding of and personal commitment to reproductive rights and the mission of Planned Parenthood.
- Comfortable discussing topics related to sexuality, contraception, sexually transmitted infections, and pregnancy options in a nonjudgmental manner.
- Ability to recognize and respond appropriately in sensitive or confidential situations.

Benefits and Compensation:
- Hourly compensation range for the Lobby Receptionist: Starting at $20.00/ hour
- Eligible for all applicable benefits effective the first of the month following 30 days from your hire date.
- Paid Time Off accrues immediately but can't be taken until after 90 full days of employment: We value work-life balance, offering generous PTO and holidays.
