Riverside House and work for a non-profit, faith-based organization operating in Miami, Florida. We specialize in community-based adult re-entry programs.

We are a co-ed, residential reentry center that helps ex-offenders successfully reenter society. Riverside House exists to guide men and women convicted of crime into becoming productive citizens through a nondenominational, faith-based approach.

Are you passionate about helping others achieve their career goals? We’re looking for a dedicated Employment Specialist to join our team! In this role, you’ll provide individualized employment services from intake and assessment to job placement and coaching to empower clients in achieving meaningful and sustainable employment.

What We Offer:

· Competitive pay at $20.00 per hour.

· Additional benefits of $4.93 per hour.

· Full-time employment with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday

4 Days Work from 8:00am to 4:30pm,

1 Days Work from 12:30pm to 9:00pm


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client intakes, assessments, and employment orientations.
  • Provide one-on-one job coaching, career exploration, resume development, and job search support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers and community partners to create job opportunities.
  • Monitor client employment progress, including schedules, promotions, and performance.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits and maintain detailed employment documentation.
  • Attend required meetings and collaborate with staff to ensure high-quality services.
  • Maintain accurate data entry and oversee employment file audits.

Qualifications

· Education: Bachelor’s Degree (experience may substitute year-for-year).

  • Experience in data entry, reporting, documentation, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
