Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Hallandale, Florida. This role involves supporting payroll operations and assisting with onboarding processes while handling sensitive data with precision. The position is a hybrid arrangement, requiring onsite work Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays after training is completed.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately enter and process large volumes of payroll data, ensuring all information is complete and error-free.
• Verify employee timecards for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Assist with onboarding new employees, including handling sensitive data with a high level of confidentiality.
• Support payroll functions for 101-500 employees, including garnishments and deductions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient payroll processing.
• Address any discrepancies or issues related to payroll entries and resolve them promptly.
• Maintain thorough records of payroll operations, ensuring proper documentation for audits.
• Provide assistance during the medical leave coverage period, adapting to the dynamic needs of the payroll department.• Prior experience in payroll processing or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with full-cycle payroll operations for mid-sized organizations.
• Knowledge of garnishments and other payroll deductions.
• Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Proficiency in basic payroll systems and software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and addressing payroll inquiries.
