United Way Miami, Inc. is hiring a Senior Manager, Marketing to join our team. As Senior Manager, Marketing you will collaborate with the AVP of Marketing in leading strategic marketing and communications initiatives that advance United Way Miami’s mission. This role drives the development of creative branding and messaging across donor/supporter- and client-facing materials. The manager helps shape forward-thinking outreach and fundraising strategies, while overseeing the execution of targeted campaigns that deepen engagement, increase support, and strengthen connections with both donors and client/service recipients. Collaborates closely with internal teams across the organization to ensure alignment and impact across all touchpoints.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborates with the Marketing & Communications team to develop and execute branded assets that support campaign goals and messaging. Leads coordination with United Way Miami’s Lines of Business to ensure alignment across all marketing efforts, maintaining brand consistency and delivering targeted materials for donors, clients, and community engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Development & Execution
- Lead development and execution of:
- integrated marketing and communications (M&C) plans
- budgets for donor and client-focused segments
Ensure brand alignment and message consistency across all campaign deliverables.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Partner with the Associate, Marketing to support coordination, asset development, and campaign execution.
- Collaborate with team Leads (Signature events) to design and implement engagement campaigns including the brand, that align with fundraising goals; support client-serving campaigns (CI)
- Support collaboration with Business Solutions to develop and optimize personalized donor touchpoints and communications.
- Collaborate across teams to maintain consistent application of the UWM brand at sponsored, recruitment, and outreach events.
Campaign Asset Development for
- Annual Community Fundraising Campaign (Consumer)
- Annual Employee Giving Campaign (Development)
-Coordinate production of digital and print assets, including webpages, emails, social media content, and event materials.
-Coordinate the marketing copy, source imagery, and provide detailed directions to Creative Services.
-Collaborate to maintain production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of campaign components.
-Proof and approve test emails and digital content for accuracy, quality, and brand consistency.
Advertising: Ad placement & Integration
- Support external communications efforts, including the development and placement of Public Service Announcements (PSAs).
- Work closely with Comms and Social Media team to ensure integration of messaging across all platforms and donor campaigns.
Collaborate closely with and serve as back-up to the AVP, Marketing, and Associate, Marketing team members, on all initiatives as needed.
Ad Hoc: Data & Research: as needs arise.
Requirements:
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications or equivalent experience. Master's degree is a plus.
Experience Requirements: 3-5 years of proven experience in Marketing, brand management, advertising, or analytics. Experience in marketing in both B2B and B2C is a plus. Experience in an e-commerce company a plus. Proven knowledge of best practices spanning a wide variety of channels, including email, print, web/mobile, and social media. Some proficiency in consumer research.
Technology Requirements: Microsoft Office suite; Zoom; Asana platform; Adobe Creative suite; Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience a plus.
Other Essential Knowledge/Skills: Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, adventurous, and innovative thinker, accountable and comfortable, who can influence and overcome obstacles in order to get positive results, independently or in a team. Strong organizational skills and able to execute with an appropriate sense of urgency while managing multiple projects, leveraging cross-functional groups in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Knowledge of customer segmentation. Understanding of key performance metrics relating to marketing campaigns. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills. Must have Graphic design skills to support project production.
