Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Miami, Florida. This is a Contract-to-permanent position within the non-profit industry, offering an opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to meaningful organizational goals. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, scheduling, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and maintain schedules using Outlook, ensuring seamless appointment and interview planning.
• Assist in the recruitment process by reviewing resumes, conducting prescreening, and scheduling interviews.
• Manage processes for prospective hires, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
• Support electronic file maintenance and ensure HR records are accurately organized.
• Learn and utilize HRIS systems like UltiPro to streamline administrative tasks.
• Provide assistance during audits by preparing and organizing required documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
• Handle general administrative duties to support the HR department's daily operations.
• Adapt to hybrid work settings as needed to meet budgetary requirements.• Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is preferred.
• Proficiency in scheduling tools, particularly Microsoft Outlook.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems, with willingness to learn UltiPro.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of recruitment processes and background checks.
