We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, you will oversee critical financial operations, including multi-currency consolidations and intercompany eliminations, while managing a small team. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to produce accurate financial reports in a fast-paced, international environment. Experience with multi-currency consolidations and eliminations is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
• Oversee multi-currency consolidations and intercompany eliminations for global operations.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages and management reports for stakeholders.
• Supervise and support two direct reports, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
• Ensure compliance with financial standards and conduct audits, including DCAA requirements.
• Utilize Workday and QuickBooks Platinum systems to streamline financial processes.
• Collaborate with international teams to navigate language barriers and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect accurate and current financial information.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and reporting.
• Partner with leadership to support strategic financial planning initiatives.
• Proven experience in managing month-end close processes and general ledger oversight.
• Strong knowledge of multi-currency consolidations and intercompany eliminations required.
• Familiarity with financial reporting standards and audit procedures, including DCAA.
• Proficiency in Workday and QuickBooks Platinum systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with international teams and navigate cultural differences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
