Executive Housekeeper – Private Residence
Full-Time | In-Person
We are seeking an exceptional Executive Housekeeper to oversee the daily housekeeping operations of a private luxury residence. This role requires a hands-on leader who takes pride in creating a pristine, well-organized, and welcoming home environment while managing and motivating a household team. The ideal candidate is polished, detail-driven, discreet, and flexible, with the ability to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and service.
Schedule & Availability
- Must be available to work weekends and evenings
- Weekend schedules are rotated to ensure balance
- Flexibility is essential based on household needs, events, and travel
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization throughout the residence at all times
- Perform and oversee deep cleaning, routine cleaning, and seasonal projects
- Manage laundry operations, including washing, pressing, steaming, wardrobe care, and linen organization
- Execute elegant table setting and service preparation for formal and informal meals
- Ensure all rooms are guest-ready and impeccably presented
- Organize closets, storage areas, pantries, and household supplies
- Maintain inventory of cleaning products, linens, and household items
- Coordinate schedules and daily task assignments for staff
- Uphold discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times
- Communicate proactively with principals and household management
- Anticipate needs and respond quickly to changes or special requests
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper, Estate Housekeeper, or Senior Housekeeping Supervisor in a private residence or luxury environment
- Must be fluent in English (spoken and understood) to ensure clear communication and leadership
- Strong leadership and team-management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability
- Expertise in deep cleaning techniques, fine surfaces, and luxury materials
- Knowledge of proper laundry and garment care
- Experience with formal and casual table settings
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Physically capable of performing hands-on housekeeping duties
- Flexible, dependable, and service-oriented
- Professional demeanor with a high level of discretion and trustworthiness
