Accounting Clerk position for a Law Firm in Dadeland area.
Experience / Skills
- At least 2 years of accounts payable.
- Microsoft Office 2016 knowledge focusing on Excel and Outlook.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be extremely organized and self-starting.
- Work on projects assigned.
- Attend to all incoming check status calls (from adjusters, clients, restoration companies, etc.)
- Reissue checks due to expiration, satisfied mortgages, change of mortgage, deceased person, etc.
- Obtain all documents needed from clients to reissue payments.
- Follow up with the insurance company on all reissue requests.
- Draft closing documents for all checks that come in a daily basis and follow up with the execution of each one for deposit.
- Make sure the umpire and appraiser invoices get paid.
- Call to obtain mortgage endorsement procedures for all Universal and American Security checks.
- Obtain executed documentation for mortgage endorsement.
- Follow up with all monitored checks by mortgage and request required documentation to get disbursement.
- Request mortgage inspection for all monitored checks after repairs have been completed.
- Strong customer service and able to communicate with clients, mortgage companies and public adjusters.
- Must speak English/Spanish.

Pay: From $39,000.00 per year
