Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Delray Beach, Florida. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to play a key role in financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all aspects of accounting. The ideal candidate will bring advanced technical expertise, a strong analytical mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality financial insights.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all entries are accurately recorded and reconciled.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, identifying and explaining key variances.
• Conduct account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts, to maintain accuracy and integrity.
• Manage journal entries and ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support audit preparation and respond to ad hoc financial requests.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze and present financial data effectively.
• Leverage systems such as NetSuite, SAP S/4HANA, and Blackline to streamline accounting processes.
• Provide financial support for eCommerce operations and other organizational initiatives.
• Ensure all general ledger accounts are reviewed and updated as part of routine financial maintenance.
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting workflows.• Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, demonstrating progressively responsible roles.
• Proficiency in account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger management.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis.
• Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, SAP S/4HANA, and Blackline.
• Strong background in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Familiarity with eCommerce financial operations is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
