We are looking for a dedicated Controller to join our team in Fort Myers, Florida. In this role, you will oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting the company’s growth. Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement effective financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to support business objectives.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with internal and external financial regulations.
• Collaborate with management to support decision-making through detailed financial analysis.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering growth and development.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to streamline operations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and accounting standards to ensure best practices.
• Proven experience in full-cycle accounting.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with the ability to adapt to new systems.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage and develop a team.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification is preferred but not required.
