Job DescriptionAbout the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to join a dynamic construction company in West Palm Beach. This is a direct hire opportunity for a professional with a strong background in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and AIA billing. The ideal candidate will be 100% onsite and bring QuickBooks expertise and prior construction industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Prepare and submit AIA billing and lien waivers in accordance with project requirements
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist with month-end close and reporting
• Collaborate with project managers and vendors to ensure timely billing and payments
• Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting tasks and reporting
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required
• Strong understanding of AIA billing and construction-related financial documentation
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
