About Us

Wyndham Garden Miami Airport is a modern, full-service hotel located just 1.5 miles from MIA. We offer 152 guest rooms, restaurant and bar, meeting spaces, fitness center, business center, and shuttle services. We’re seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team.

Position Summary

This is a full-time, on-site accounting role (Monday–Friday, 40 guaranteed hours). The ideal candidate has entry-level accounting experience and preferably hospitality exposure. Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) and able to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Bank Reconciliation (Bank Daily)
  • Review and adjustments of PM Accounts
  • Manage and monitor Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Track, document, and resolve chargebacks
  • Enter and post vendor invoices in QuickBooks
  • Reconcile Wyndham Rewards statements
  • Respond to guest emails regarding refunds, disputes, or adjustments
  • Manage and reconcile OTA Virtual Cards (Booking.com, Expedia, etc.)
  • Support monthly closing tasks and general accounting needs

Requirements

  • Bilingual English–Spanish (Mandatory)
  • QuickBooks experience required
  • Entry-level accounting background
  • Opera Cloud or Hotel System preferred
  • Hotel experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to work 100% on-site
  • Immediate availability
