Position Description:
The Human Resources/Quality Control Specialist is responsible for managing HR functions while ensuring product or service quality meets the organization's standards. This role involves recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and implementing quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Develop job descriptions and specifications.
- Post job advertisements and screen applications.
- Conduct interviews and coordinate hiring processes.
- Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs.
2. Employee Relations:
- Act as a liaison between management and employees.
- Address employee concerns and grievances.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and environment.
3. Performance Management:
- Implement performance appraisal systems.
- Provide support in performance improvement plans.
- Assist in career development and training programs.
4. Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
Quality Control:
1. Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections.
- Identify areas for improvement and ensure corrective actions.
2. Standards and Regulations:
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of quality standards.
3. Documentation:
- Maintain quality control documentation and reports.
- Analyze quality data and provide insights for process improvements.
4. Training:
- Train staff on quality standards and procedures.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR and quality control roles.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in HR and quality management software.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
