Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic team in West Palm Beach. In this hunter role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving sales growth. You will leverage your expertise in market analysis and strategic planning to develop innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs while enhancing our market presence. The successful candidate should be comfortable and effective with prospecting, cold calling, qualifying, and setting up meetings over the phone, email & using LinkedIn. This position offers a competitive salary plus quarterly bonuses and great benefits.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through regular communication and follow-ups.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable business deals.
  • Own and run your outbound prospecting campaigns: emails, calls, social selling, whatever works to generate leads
  • Follow up on various demand generation campaigns run by the marketing team to identify prospects
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our services.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field. Experience in facilities management/maintenance a big plus!
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (Aspire is a plus) for managing client relationships and sales processes.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills for strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
