WAREHOUSE DOCK WORKER

THE POSITION:

As a Material Handler at our Logistics Facility, you will:
- Provide world class customer service to all internal and external customers
- Transport materials and donated merchandise through day to day operations at Logistics Center
- Operate assigned equipment in a safe manner, including forklift
- Assisting in guiding the movement of vehicles in a safe manner; loading and unloading of vehicles; and maintaining the vehicles in a clean, neat, and safe manner, in accordance with organizational policies and procedure
- Assists White Glove Service in picking up donated goods from customer’s home and/or businesses etc, along with unloading at GIM locations. Ensures all donated merchandise is properly secured and well cared for to prevent damage while in transport.

THE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to work independently
- Prior warehouse or dock worker experience required
- Certified Forklift Operator required
- Safety certifications preferred
- Driver spotter experience preferred
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
THE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move up to 40 pounds with no support regularly
