In this role, you will prepare and review federal and state tax returns for a diverse client base, including individuals and small businesses. You will ensure compliance with current tax laws, provide expert guidance on tax planning strategies, and deliver exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and small businesses
- Analyze financial documents and ensure accuracy of all information
- Advise clients on tax planning strategies and potential savings opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and IRS regulations
- Maintain accurate and organized client records and documentation
- Provide high-quality client service, answering questions and resolving issues
- Stay updated on tax law changes and participate in continuing education
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of tax preparation experience
- Valid PTIN and any required state licenses
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., TaxSlayer, Drake, TaxDome)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
