Wellness Research and Consulting is searching for a meticulous and experienced Inventory Manager to join our growing team in Royal Palm Beach, FL. If you're passionate about optimizing supply chains, minimizing waste, and ensuring seamless operations, we want to hear from you!

In this vital role, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our inventory, from accurate forecasting and procurement to efficient storage and distribution. You'll play a key part in maintaining optimal stock levels, implementing best practices, and leveraging data to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement robust inventory management strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.

  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.

  • Monitor and analyze inventory performance metrics, including turns, obsolescence, and shrinkage, preparing detailed reports for management.

  • Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and production teams to forecast demand accurately and ensure timely procurement of materials.

  • Manage warehouse organization and layout for efficient storage, retrieval, and order fulfillment.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Train and supervise inventory staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.

  • Utilize inventory management software and systems to track and manage inventory data.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines related to inventory storage and handling.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in an inventory management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles, forecasting techniques, and warehouse operations.

  • Proficiency with inventory management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
