Compensation:
$70,000 yearly at plan
Responsibilities:
- Implement sales strategies and tactics proven effective in maintaining and growing existing customer portfolios comprised of loyal, long-term clients
- Continue your education on evolving insurance industry protocols to adequately fulfill all policy requirements and monitor insurance claims to customers’ satisfaction
- Listen attentively to new and potential clients, evaluate their needs and their financial statuses, and propose ideal plan options for their unique circumstances and insurance needs
- Create tailored risk management strategies directly with clients that align with their risk profiles
- Ensure bookkeeping systems, sales databases, and customer records are maintained to report progress toward monthly initiatives to stakeholders
- Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide personalized recommendations
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Sales Generation: Achieve and exceed sales targets by proactively working our existing leads while leveraging existing relationships
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes to effectively communicate value propositions to clients
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, earning their trust and confidence as their go-to insurance advisor
- Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, policy details, and other relevant information
Qualifications:
- Proven understanding of the insurance industry including insurance products, risk management and any state and federal regulations
- Candidates must have an insurance license
- Some computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office is required
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, customer service skills, and analytical skills are required
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- A Florida 2-20 or 4-40 insurance license is required
- Experience with independent Florida carriers preferred
